Between East and West: A visual-ethnographic approach to identity and belonging among young Berliners after reunification.

About the film/director

Alma Fried was born in Berlin in 2001, where she currently lives and works.
While studying anthropology, she began exploring visual forms of expression at the intersection of the personal and the social.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in media studies, where she is deepening her exploration of narrative forms in media. “zwischen uns” is her first film.
