Wild

Storyline

The isolated Sudeten borderlands are slowly depopulating. Lack of work and declining living standards force the younger generation to leave in search of a better life. Nature is slowly taking back the landscape and a long-exiled predator wolf is returning to the local forests, attacking defenceless sheep from local farms. The father of the family and his children have to deal not only with their uncertain future on the farm, but also with an erratic mother nature.

About the film/director

Štěpán Uždil studied Directing and Screenwriting at the Studio of Audiovisual Arts dio at FMC TBU Zlín, Czech Republic. The short film Wild is his graduation film.
