Storyline

Hope is hidden at the bottom of this unhappy box, but it is alive: in spite of the daily routine, the problems and worries, hope sparkles with purity and flies like a bird; hope is in the eyes of the daughter and in chance meetings; in the sunshine and in solitude.

About the film/director

Amir Karakulov Studied at the Journalist Faculty of the Kazakh University, the Directing Faculty of the VGIK (Soloviev’s Master Workshop). In 1990, graduated from the Directing Faculty of the Alma - Ata Theater and Art Institute. His feature début Razluchnitsa was given the Fipresci Prize at the Moscow Film Festival.
