Two Is A Magic Number
(Supporting Short Film "Der Hauptgewinn")
Storyline
Andrej is in a wheelchair and has retreated to a house by the lake when he unexpectedly receives a visit from his ex-girlfriend Nadja. She is now with Claudius, who was once Andrej's best friend. The three used to jump off cliffs together. What happened back then? What drove the three of them apart? Nadia's plea for help holds a possible chance, because he still loves Nadia. But above all, she confronts Andrei with a dark moment in his life.
About the film/director
Holger Borggrefe is passionate about working with people in front of and behind the camera. He is active as a director, author and actor-photographer - and for some years now especially as a lecturer in film acting. Thus, his second feature film has logically become a chamber play for actors, on a large lake that reflects the feelings of the protagonists. Stefan Hering has directed five award-winning short films and four feature films. He has also been responsible for more than 550 episodes of "Dahoam is Dahoam" as story editor, plotter and screenwriter - and still has a ravenous appetite for stories. As a banker and business administration student, he discovered his passion: storytelling. While studying production and media management at the HFF Munich, he developed the desire to create his stories down to the last detail - in word, sound and image. This was followed by studies in directing at the Hamburg Media School under Hark Bohm and a Screenwriting Certificate in the UCLA Extension Program.
