The Fern Flower

Storyline

Three teenagers set out into the mountains in search of the legendary Fern Flower. Amid wild landscapes and forest trails, Lila hopes to find out if the magic of her grandmother’s tale can help her save a recently broken relationship. She is accompanied by her loyal friend Patrycja and a somewhat lost former scout, Krystian, who isn’t quite sure how he got involved in the adventure.

About the film/director

Director and screenwriter. Author of films showcased at over seventy international festivals. Winner of second place in Poland’s largest screenwriting competition, "Imagine," and a finalist of Papaya Young Directors. Recipient of a scholarship from the Pilecki Institute in Berlin. University lecturer and film educator. In his free time, he escapes to the mountains. Currently working on his feature-length documentary debut, The Bigger Picture.
