The Boy who erased kisses

Storyline

The boy doesn't like when somebody kisses him. But what happens if every time you get kissed you erase it? You slowly start to lose your color and live in an unhappy and more colorless world. Therefore you have to rediscover human warmth, love and friendship.

About the film/director

Radostina Neykova is Professor, Program Director of the Animation department, and Program Director of the Faculty “Production and post-production” in the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA) “Krastyo Sarafov”. She is a Bulgarian director, animator, children’s book illustrator and academic.
Radostina uses non-traditional, handmade embroidery and textile cut-out animation techniques in her films, and she directed the award-winning animated shorts The Boy who erased kisses (2025), Marmalade (2020), Ugly Fairy Tale (2018), Grumpy Does Repairs (2015), Trip (2011) and others. She has held solo exhibitions on her embroidery and illustration techniques in various locations in Europe, America and Africa and delivers animation workshops across Europe. She makes Animation workshops and Master class in France, Cuba, Serbia, Poland, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Russia, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Germany.
Radostina Neykova is a member of many prestigious Bulgarian film and animation organizations, and the author of several academic books, including Aesthetics, technology and communication in cinema for adolescent audiences (2022), Contemporary Cinema for Children (2016), and Comic Books on the Contemporary Screen (2009).

Fernando Galrito (Assoc. Professor) was born in Samora Correia (Portugal).
He took Cinema, Animation, Video and Theatre Director courses and graduated in Anthropology. He received an MA in Culture, Communication and New Technologies and is currently working on his PhD – Animation, From the screen to the stage to the Gallery.
Teaches Animation and Artistic Interdisciplinary Project at the Caldas da Rainha Design and Art School | ESAD.CR since 2000.
Present lectures on the subject of Moving Images and the Pedagogy of Animation and relation between Animation, New Technologies and Other Arts in different national and international Universities and Arts Schools.
Is a guest teacher and conduct animation workshops in different universities and countries as: Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Russia, Lithuania, Swiss, Austria, Hungary, Estonia, Canada, Norway, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, China, Argentina, Mozambique, Morocco and Brazil.
Fernando Galrito has directed animated films, documentaries and videos shown and primed at national and international festivals and televisions.
Addition his interests and project works extend into the fields of planetarium, dance, theatre and fine and performing arts.
He is the artistic director of the MONSTRA | Lisbon Animated Film Festival and supervises and program the FIRST | International Student Meeting for Animation Arts organized by ESAD.CR. He’s also jury member of various international festivals.
Collaborate with various magazines, radio and TV programs related to cinema and pedagogy. He is a member of national and international organizations for Animation Arts.
