Strong Hair
Storyline
Since the times of slavery, the Afro-hairs of black people have been the object of racist behavior. The hair status played a big role: the straighter the hair of the slaves was, the higher they were in the favor of their slave owner. STRONG HAIR shows that the young Black generation is becoming aware of and overcoming these racist behavior patterns and beauty ideals.
