Steps

Storyline

One day in the life of a reclusive monk who lives in a monastery at the top of the town. The only living being he is fond of is, in fact, a little lemon tree. When the tree is on the verge of drying out from the lack of water the Monk has to walk down the steps through the whole town to get to the well.

About the film/director

Tatiana and Marina Moshkova are twin sisters.
They graduated from the St.Petersburg State University of Film and TV (Russia) where they studied directing of animation and computer graphics. They were twice awarded with the Youth Award of Saint - Petersburg in the field of culture and art. Sisters each have their own animation career with the award - winning films but occasionally they join forces to co-create a film. Currently both are working at the Peterburg Studio of Computer Animation as lead directors on the animation series for kids.
