Storyline

Merle and Jonas spontaneously take off in the car towards Paris. Their destination: the dream view of the city of love from the Sacre Cœur. Can a sunset in Paris really save their relationship? In search of a parking space, they wander through the conurbation of the metropolis and make a bet.

About the film/director

Ruben Sommerfeld grew up in the USA, where his interest in film was awakened on an early age. After school and further stays abroad he first studied political science and philosophy in Bonn, Berlin and Paris. Since 2021, he has been studying film at the Academy of Media Arts. Here he made the short films KEIN SIGNAL IN SCHATTENTAL, Tag am Fluss and Sunset in Paris, August 25, 20:48.
He is currently working on his diploma film.
