Storyline

After A has experienced sexual assault, she finds it difficult to allow closeness. The closer she gets to a new person in her life, the stronger her fear of making herself vulnerable becomes. A visual poem about trauma, closeness and healing.

About the film/director

Agnes Pauer was born in Vienna in 1996 and grew up on the edge of the humpbacked world in Burgenland. She came to film through acting (e.g. Junge Burg, Burgtheater Wien) and writing. Agnes studied political science and is co-founder of the theater collective "Schein-werfer". She worked as an author and director for the productions "Prometheus.entfesselt" (2020) and "Die Na-se" (2022). Since 2022 she has been studying feature film directing at the University of Television and Film Munich.
