Storyline
When celebrated photographer Felix is suddenly called back to the windswept islands of Northern Norway, he must confront the landscapes of a adolescence he tried to forget. Haunted by guilt over a failed relationship with Lily and the estranged bond with his cousin Patrick, he returns reluctantly.
About the film/director
Joona Ikonen is a Finnish film director and screenwriter based in Helsinki. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Film from Aalto University. Ikonen is known for his visually striking and atmospheric style, which often leans on improvisation and responsiveness. He enjoys working with a small, agile, documentary-style crew, allowing for maximum freedom in choosing locations. Postcards Without Names is his debut feature film.
