Eine experimentelle Herangehensweise an die Definitionen von "Queer" und die damit verbundenen Assoziationen. Mit dem Fokus auf das männliche Geschlecht in den gezeigten Bildern gelingt es dem Film, den männlichen Blick für einen Moment abzulenken.

About the film/director

Antti Tuomikoski (b. 1983) is a film editor and documentary filmmaker based in Helsinki, Finland. He has previously directed the documentary film Expensive Shit (2008). His editing credits include When Heroes Lie by director Arto Halonen, Price of Peace by director Ville Suhonen, Jingle Bells by director Taru Mäkelä, and Rebellion for Future, directed by Saku Soukka, as well as numerous other short and long form fictional and documentary films and TV series.

Director’s statement

Out of Order is an experimental found footage film in which I have applied a queer lens to the television advertising imagery of my youth.
