Storyline

Siegfried "Siggi" Trzoß, radio presenter from East Berlin, works tirelessly towards his 900th anniversary broadcast. anniversary broadcast. The music he is passionate about is East German Schlager, a genre that has largely been forgotten today. But Siggi keeps the dream alive to this day and makes the hearts of senior citizens throughout East Germany beat faster with nostalgia. The film accompanies Siggi during his preparations.

About the film/director

Nik Azad is probably one of the most important directors of our time. At least that's what his mother says. Born in exotic North Rhine-Westphalia, he emigrated to distant Berlin in 2019 and worked in film, TV and theater. Since 2022, he has been studying directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. This text was written by Nik himself in third person.
