In the modern world we are surrounded by machines. Caring for the machines we forget the most complex one: our human body.

About the film/director

I am Louis Brückner, filmmaker and musician. I was born and raised in Berlin. I study Film & Sound at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts since 2020. I love to play and experiment with cinematic forms to go unconventional ways and find poetry where you might not expect it.
I am Laura Baalmann, filmmaker and musician. I was born and raised in Wildeshausen, a small town in the north of Germany. After working in the television and film industry for three years, I have been studying Film & Sound at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts since 2020. I am very interested in documentary film and love to experiment with film. Most of my films deal with social and political issues, for example my films “Invisible Women” (2022) premiered at the International Short Film Festival Regensburg, or “Luka” (2024) at the Trinational Short Film Festival in Offenburg. My current project focuses on young people who volunteer as lifeguards on the Baltic Sea.
