Storyline

Jonna's childhood friend Louis assaulted her sexually when they were both about 12years old. While Louis almost forgot the incident, Jonna is struggling with PTSD. The situation is very demanding on Jonna's loved ones as well. Does an offender have to act in bad faith to be violent? Who is to be blamed? The docu-fiction short shows a montage of five staged interviews while playing with common clichés and constructs of offenders and victims.

About the film/director

Linda Verweyen studied 'Expressive Arts in Social Transformation' in her bachelor’s degree, specialising in the social and individual relevance of film production and reception. Currently she is studying film directing in the master’s programme at Fach Hochschule Dortmund University with a focus on participatory film production, the documentary-fictional form and social change processes using film.
