Storyline

In the first feature film, the police officers of the Siebenstern West station have to deal with mysterious deaths. Young people are dying for no obvious reason, and the only thing they have in common is a vaccination that is currently taking place. Even Felicity Nauberg, a detective superintendent newly transferred to the region, is in the dark. Many questions arise. Why are the victims dying? What does an English Earl have to do with it all? What helps against vampires? Is Herbert a vaccine drutschala? And why, of all things, a smart? The sometimes unconventional investigating officers of the Seven Star West have a lot to clarify and this time get themselves into mortal danger.

About the film/director

Michael von Hohenberg was born in Hof/Saale in 1973 and grew up in Weißenstadt in the Fichtelgebirge. He began his career as an actor in 1998 at the Luisenburg Festival in Wunsiedel before moving behind the camera in Munich for the crime series Siska. In the years that followed, he worked in various areas of filmmaking, from daily soaps to Hollywood films, and at the same time was already shooting his own short film projects, which he directed. In 2006 he worked at his first feature film Evolution Evidence and in 2010 he shot the youth feature Legend of Brothers with a star-studded cast. In 2013, he succeeded with the internationally award-winning nuclear war drama Final Picture, a much-acclaimed film, also in nuclear circles, which earned him the Golden Spirit Award in Hollywood, among others. With the series Der Fichtelgebirgskrimi-Siebenstern he created a popular dialect comedy, which now finds its continuation in the feature film Impfdrutschala.
