I Am Free

(Supporting Short Film "Jack And Chan", selection of 2020 program)

Storyline

Seventeen-year-old Artyom comes to the seaside camp between shifts to hide from problems and heavy memories. But instead of the desired solitude, he meets the strange inhabitants of the camp and is forced to communicate with them. A series of random (or not random at all?) events must either break or heal the hero.

About the film/director

Iliya Severov was born in 1983 in Saint-Petersburg. Graduated from acting department of Saint-Petersburg Academy of Theatre Arts and directing department of State University of Film and Television (class of Konstantin Lopushanski).
