Storyline

What does it take to feel at home?
Fabian Gruber's debut film "Here and Now" (camera: Lia Bardehle) finds three very individual answers to this question and provides everyday insights into arriving in Germany, old age and personal independence.

About the film/director

Fabian Gruber is a Munich-born photographer and filmmaker who now lives in Vienna and works from his studio in a suburb of the city. He has spent his studies at the Munich University of Applied Sciences developing his practice. He is now at a point that allows him to decipher his identity as an artist further.
