Gefühle ausblenden auf eigene Gefahr

Storyline

A young woman suffers a bipolar episode, but given her busy schedule, she blocks out these emotions. As a result, she has to struggle with insomnia, obsessive thoughts and suicidal feelings in order to cope with school and work. Blocking out the illness - and the reality of her life - poses a danger. Her body notices this tension immediately and reacts with uncontrolled vomiting. The woman documents her illness with an iPhone, taking the rare opportunity to make her struggle with her mental illness visible. We accompany her to the psychiatric ward of a hospital, during a medication withdrawal and through her day hospital program.
