Fragments on Resistance
Storyline
During the recent protests in Georgia and Serbia, two friends from two different countries, Pavla and Levan, document their personal connection and the political events around them by exchanging videos, photos and messages.
About the film/director
Levan Tskhovrebadze is a filmmaker, film critic, and festival programmer from Georgia. He was part of the Sarajevo Talents Press in 2023 and served on the young FIPRESCI jury at the 35th Warsaw Film Festival. He writes for Senses of Cinema, Eye for Film, Film International, Film New Europe, and Cineuropa. His debut short "Fisherman's Burden" (2024) won Best International Short Film at Cluj-Napoca's "Cinema Paradiso" and had a successful festival run. "Fragments on Resistance" is his second short.
Ani Kiladze is a film critic, director, writer and content creator based in Tbilisi, Georgia. She is a co-founder of Es Aris Kino - an online platform focused on modern cinema and industry. Ani is also a programmer and social media manager at the Kutaisi International Short Film Festival. "Fragments on Resistance" is her debut short film.
