Storyline
Issa, a refugee from Sierra Leone, has lived in Germany for seven years. Now his only chance to stay in this country one day is to leave it—and scattered fragments of his life remain behind.
About the film/director
Derin is originally from Turkey. She studied sociology as well as social and cultural anthropology and is currently focusing on documentary filmmaking. In her artistic work, she explores themes such as migration, borders, and questions of identity.

A documentary about the global waste trade and the dependencies created by neoliberal practices. The film offers insights into the lives of people who must live with the consequences of these structures and reveals how global economic processes shape concrete realities of life.
