Storyline

Sister Elizabeth lives a peaceful and communal life in the convent. She is about to take her final vows—the last step to becoming a nun and marrying God. When her childhood sweetheart Jonathan calls to tell her about his father's death, Elsie decides to go to him, putting her faith to the test.

About the film/director

Alexandra Konst grew up in Pforzheim and studied “Design, Art, and Media” in Tübingen and Stuttgart. She gained practical experience as an editor at a film production company and as a project coordinator for the “Filmwinter” festival in Stuttgart. Her half-hour improvisational film “Liminal” marked her short film debut. In the winter semester of 2022, she began her studies in film directing at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. During the 2024–25 academic year, she completed an exchange year in the screenwriting department of the Film Academy and wrote a feature film for the program.
