Storyline

Forty-year-old Johan is in the midst of an important job interview when his mother unexpectedly shows up and decides to 'help out'. 'Curl' is a humorous examination of the bond between parents and children and a deep dive into what might happen when the offspring of the curling generation grow up and have to fend for themselves in the world.

Helen Silvander is a Swedish/Romanian/Nigerian actress, writer, director, and animator located in Stockholm, Sweden. Her work often includes a touch of surrealism and humor, in her way of portraying everyday life and the weird encounters that form us as human beings.
