Storyline

In a future where world leaders are appointed by lottery Lenny Hicks, a former rockstar, becomes Prime Minister of the UK against his will.
Forbidden to resign by law Lenny decides to become the worst possible leader in order to be kicked out of office. Unfortunately, he will discover that the more stupid he acts the more popular he becomes.

About the film/director

Juan Ángel Hernández is a Spanish writer, director, and producer. He studied Media & Communications in Málaga and a MA in Film & TV Production in York. His career includes work on shows like The Crown and EastEnders, as well as campaigns for Prime Video and Netflix. His first short, Green Gold Fever, won the contest Rodando por Jaén, and the Trópico de Europa Award at the International short film festival in Almuñecar. His second short film, City Of Pigs, is a satire on the dangers of populism.
