Storyline

A distant yet intimate voice narrates an associative journey through off-season Spain images and in the end reflects a world, where reality and perception blur in the paradoxes of migration and the evolving question of chatbot emotionality.

About the film/director

Sára Prokopová is a Slovak documentary filmmaker focusing on social issues and poetic-essayistic storytelling. She studied documentary directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava under pedagogical supervision of director Robert Kirchhoff. Her work includes films on variety of themes but especially focusing on how environment shapes person’s identity. She collaborates on television documentaries (Monument(k)y, prod. STVR) and other directors‘ films (e.x. Peter Kerekes tv docuserie Marathon stories (2024) and film in production –MMM film) as a researcher and assistant director. Currently, she is filming a time-lapse documentary about the transformation of public service media in Slovakia.
